New Jeans

Finding a good pair of jeans makes my day!  Finding a pair that are comfortable and look cute and make me feel a bit pretty isn't the easiest thing to do.  My one bit of advise when it comes to jean shopping is this...

WEAR THEM, AT LEAST, TWICE BEFORE WASHING!

Once you have found "THE ONE", you must get at least 2 good wearings out of them before they hit those soapy suds and cold water.  It is a MUST.  Some may say, "but they are dirty...I wore them out of the house."  My response?  I DON'T CARE!  Once those beautiful, perfect jeans hit the wash, they will never be the same as those first two wearings.  If you wear them twice, you can at least say, "Remember when you were perfect?" And the jeans will reply, "Why yes, I do." 

You know its true.

Pearls and Gems...

Basically the concept come from my dad.  He had good advice and gladly shared it.  He even wrote it down for the Senior High students at our church.  I guess in some ways I want to leave my own legacy of wisdom and advice.  Then again, sometimes I just like to share my opinion...which really, is all he did too.

I've been called wise, peaceful, smart, mature, and analytical.  I've also been called loud, naive, condescending, and loud. (yes....I get told I'm loud quite a bit....but I've decided it is a compliment)

So, you be the judge.  I'll share my thoughts and opinions, and you can see my wise side and possibly my loud side.  Hopefully through it all, my pearls and gems will reach a few and inspire others to make a difference in their little piece of the world.
